Who Is a Candidate for Rhinoplasty? Should I Get a Nose Job?

How Is Rhinoplasty Done?

Rhinoplasty takes 2 to 4 hours and is typically performed while you are under general anesthesia or deep sedation. Dr. Tripathi performs 2 types of rhinoplasty procedures:

Closed rhinoplasty: Through incisions hidden inside the nostrils, Dr. Tripathi reshapes the nasal cartilage, bones, and soft tissues.Open rhinoplasty: This approach uses a small, inconspicuous incision along the columella (the tissue between the nostrils) to allow for better visibility needed to make more complex corrections.

Dr. Tripathi will discuss both options during your consultation to determine which may be a better fit for your goals.
